Mehidy Miraz: Definitely, I think 215 is a good score for our batsmen. The wicket is good and if we play well we can easily chase. Just try to bowl the dot balls in the middle overs and build the pressure - that was my plan. We will focus on playing normal cricket, ball-to-ball and we are confident.

Local Time, 08:41 GMT, 14:11 IST: Disappointing batting performance from Afghanistan. On a good batting wicket they never got going and by the halfway stage had played more than 100 dots as Rahmat and Shahidi failed to rotate the strike enough. Old-school ODI batting of the 80s and early 90s and that allowed the hosts to build the pressure on them. Soon after getting in they got out. Mehidy with a tight spell through the middle overs as he kept a leash on things. Eventually it was left to Najiubullah who played an enterprising knock of 67 to help his side go over 200. There was a late collapse after Nabi got out and the visitors could not bat out their overs. Mustafizur and Shoriful cleaning up the lower-order. Back for the chase in 30 minutes...

49.1:Mustafizur to Ahmadzai, out Caught by Mahmudullah!! Fine catch and that ends Afghanistan's innings at 215. Slower delivery on a fuller length outside leg, Ahmadzai makes room and lofts high in the air, Mahmudullah goes back to take an overhead catch under his eyes, then tumbles backwards clutching the ball safely. Mustafizur has a smile.
